| Manhattan Flora was a project where I responded to flowers graffitied onto the pavements of Soho and the Lower East of Manhattan, New York. I recorded the images and location of 356 flowers and mapped that data into a drawing, Manhattan Flora Reference Map (view in link to research images). The information was then translated into this piece where individual canvasses are titled with a code for where the flower can be found on the streets of Manhattan. |
